Executive Office of Immigration Review Suspends all Non-Detained Hearings

The Department of Justice’s Immigration Court system (EOIR) announced that it will suspend all non-detained hearings through April 10th in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. This dealy will affect all 68 immigration courts nation wide. Most immigration courts remain open for filings and other back office case processing include motions and Immigration Judge rulings.

Hearing previously scheduled during these dates will automatically be rescheduled. No action is required from respondents.

The Denver and Aurora courts currently remain open. Aurora Immigration Court will continue detained hearings.
